Dear Lake Weir Middle School Families,

What a great first week back to school! Despite any scheduling or transportation challenges, our learners were fed, cared for, and kept safe. That is a success by any measure.

We encourage all families to review these resources to support a successful school year.

We officially begin our athletic season next week with Cross Country, as noted in our Week at a Glance. We are excited to see our student-athletes represent Lake Weir Middle School.

As a reminder, all student-athletes must have a completed physical on file before participating in sports.

We will also begin conducting safety drills. Safety drills will take place throughout the school year to help learners practice and understand the important procedures we have in place to keep everyone safe.

✨ What a beautiful morning! ✨
Our hearts are so full after our morning prayer walk. It was an absolute privilege to come together, lift up Lake Weir Middle School and speak blessings over the classrooms, administration, teachers, and students.

We are praying for a safe, successful, and deeply impactful school year filled with growth, joy, and protection for all of our Eagles! Thank you to everyone who joined us and poured out their love this morning!

🍎✏️ Welcome to Middle School, Eagles! ✏️🍎
We had an incredible turnout yesterday morning for our 6th Grade Orientation! At 9:30 AM, our newest learners and their families flooded the classrooms to meet teachers, pick up schedules, and get a first look at life at Lake Weir Middle School.
The energy in the building was amazing as students connected with peers and prepared to soar into this exciting new chapter. Thank you to all the parents, guardians, and staff members who came out to support our rising 6th graders and set them up for a successful year ahead!
