🗳️ District 30 Voters!

Be informed before the November 3 election! Take a moment to review the information below about the proposed school bond issue, including important voting dates. ❤️🤍💙

Voters in District 30 will have the opportunity to vote on a proposed bond issue on November 3. The bond would fund projects focused on modernizing learning spaces, improving campus safety and security, and addressing building and infrastructure needs. See the graphic below for answers to a few frequently asked questions. These questions, along with additional FAQs and information about the proposed bond, are available on our website at https://bit.ly/4itR2Ki. We encourage the Sulphur community to review this information and be informed ahead of the November 3 election.

Early voting: October 20-27 (excluding Sunday, October 25), 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m.
Election Day: November 3, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.

Poetry club got a little spooky for October. They analyzed the witches poem from MacBeth and wrote their own recipe poem for a witch’s brew! Students analyzed rhyme scheme and created spooky poetry!

Mrs. Kennedy’s class has been learning about ancient Mesopotamia. They recently did an activity to emphasize how agricultural advancements created a chain reaction that led to the growth of the civilization.

While studying Mexico in their 2nd Grade North America unit for social studies, students were able to try Mexican chocolate and compare and contrast it to our chocolate since cocoa beans are grown in Mexico. Learning is sweet!

We love Eraser Man! Mrs. Royers class is practicing the 8 sounds they have learned so far in CKLA to guess what their partner’s word is! Kindergarten is so much fun!

Making history come alive! 🇺🇸Mrs. Provost’s RTI class took a virtual field trip to the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia while studying I Survived the American Revolution, 1776. Students explored history, connected it to their novel, and had a fantastic time learning.
