Failure is just another step toward the solution!

Ms. Fruge’s 8th grade science students put their engineering skills—and their perseverance—to the test during a hands-on character lesson focused on criteria and constraints in engineering design.

The challenge? Students were given just one piece of paper and a pair of scissors and tasked with creating a hole in the paper large enough for them to walk through!

Along the way, students learned an important lesson that goes far beyond the science classroom: every failure gives us information, and each attempt brings us one step closer to finding the solution.

Our Raiders are learning to think, problem-solve, persevere, and LEAD!

Today’s inservice was all about getting our teachers relaxed, recharged, and ready for our Raiders! 💚💛🖤

Our staff enjoyed a little GOAT YOGA 🐐🧘‍♀️ to kick off the new school year! There were plenty of stretches, lots of laughs, a few goat shenanigans, and even a surprise visit from a pig! 🐷

What a fun way to spend time together, relieve a little stress, and get ready to welcome our students back. We’re refreshed and ready for a great year at LeBlanc Middle!
