POV: You’re a 9th grader at LCA. 💙🦁

Our freshmen asked if they could make a “Day in the Life” video, and we love that they wanted to show you school through their eyes.

Yes, there are classes, assignments, and all the things that come with high school. But there’s also worship, laughter in the hallways, teachers who truly know their scholars, friends who feel like family, and a place where you’re encouraged to become who God created you to be.

We’re building the kind of high school experience we’ve always dreamed of for our kids… one where they can be challenged academically, grow spiritually, make memories, and genuinely love coming to school.

This is a day in the life at LCA High. And we’re just getting started. 💙

There’s just something about belonging that gets us every single time. ❤️💜💙💚

Today was House Sorting Day, and there’s nothing quite like watching our scholars discover where they belong.

Each of our houses is rooted in a Greek word that reflects a Biblical truth and connected to a Biblical figure whose life demonstrates that truth. It’s intentional… because even something as fun as house competitions and school spirit can point our scholars back to who God has called them to be.

More than a color. More than a team. More than a competition.

It’s a place to belong, to grow, to be known, and to become.

You belong here. You have a place. You have a purpose.

🍪 Same sweet idea. Two different classes. Two completely different science lessons! 🧪

Our 9th and 10th grade scholars each had their own Crumbl-inspired lab designed around what they’re learning in science.

Our 10th grade Biology scholars completed the Crumbl & Creation Lab, using observation, classification, and evidence-based reasoning to explore the attributes of living things, variation, and purposeful design.

Later in the day, our 9th grade Physical Science scholars completed the Crumbl Compounds Lab, using hands-on modeling to explore elements, compounds, and mixtures.

Different classes. Different concepts. Same creative approach to making learning memorable. 🍪🔬

There’s just something special about Fruit of the Spirit Day at LCA. 🍓🍊🍇💙

Yes, there’s fruit, fun, laughter, and memories being made all over campus, but underneath it all is something so much bigger.

Our scholars are being reminded that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control aren’t things we simply try harder to become. They are the overflow of a life connected to Jesus.

These are the moments we treasure. Watching our scholars learn, worship, laugh, grow, and experience Jesus woven into the everyday rhythms of school.

This is what childhood at LCA looks like. And goodness, we’re grateful they get to grow up here.

Who says indoor recess has to be boring?! 🎉

When it’s too hot outside (or like today, when there’s lightning), we can just blow up our slides and bounce house to bring the party INSIDE! 🥳🙌

Can you tell we’re just a little excited to finally have SPACE?! 😂💙

There’s something extra special about watching our kids run, play, laugh, and enjoy every inch of this place we prayed so hard for. We are soaking it ALL in! 💙
