📚🏈 Throwback Thursday!

October 8th, 2013: We love looking back at moments like this—our Wildcat football players and Blue Blazes taking time to read with younger students in the Sulphur Springs community!

One of the things we love most about our SSHS students is seeing them give back and serve others in so many different ways. Whether they’re on the field, in the classroom, or spending time with the next generation of Wildcats, they continue to make us proud.

Once a Wildcat, always a Wildcat! 🐾

📚 Growing Wildcats Through the Love of Reading! 📚

Today, members of the SSHS Key Club are hitting the road for their Book Reading Tour, visiting Barbara Bush, Rowena Johnson, and Sulphur Springs Primary campuses, as well as Douglass Early Childhood Learning Center! Our Key Club members are spending time reading with and encouraging some of our youngest Wildcats. 🐾📖

There’s something special about seeing our high school students connect with the next generation of Wildcats. These moments create memories, inspire a love of reading, and remind our younger students that they have an entire Wildcat family cheering them on!

And the fun doesn’t stop today! Key Club will host three more Book Reading Tours on November 4th, February 3rd, and March 3rd.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible Key Club members and their sponsors, KayLee Wood and DaMarcus Johnson, for the time, energy, and heart they pour into our students and our community! 🐾
