And that’s a wrap on Homecoming! A special thanks to the Class of 1976 and 2006 for coming home this Homecoming! Thank you to everyone who came for the tailgate. Many thanks to our meal sponsors Fareway of Pella, Co-Line Manufacturing and Sully Locker & Market, along with LSCEF Board members and spouses (past and present) who helped with set-up, serving, and clean-up.

We are here to serve you! Grab your food, sit in your car (or take it home!) and wait this rain out! We would even bring the food TO you—just pull up in the bus lane!

We know it’s STILL raining. But you can STILL tailgate! We’ve seen it done. Tent? Ponchos? We will have the food, you bring the rain gear! Serving starting at 5:00 outside the elementary doors. A special thanks to Fareway of Pella, Co-Line Manufacturing, and Sully Locker & Market for their donations to the meal tonight!

We’re believing the rain will clear and everyone can enjoy a tailgate! Park your car, come grab some to-go meals, and enjoy your time before cheering on the Hawks! Players make their way to the field about 6:10 so have your car parked and be ready to cheer them on as they walk to the field from the high school main entrance, up the bus lane, and down to the track/football field entrance!

Homecoming week is coming NEXT week! We are excited to welcome back two classes who are coming ‘home’ for Homecoming.

Community support is what makes things keep happening for our students and staff—most recently a few dozen calculators for our middle school and math classes! Support our community by purchasing local, support our students by supporting local, see all that support? That’s what is so great about our small town school district!

The L-S Homecoming webstore is live! Like Maverick in Top Gun, we know our Hawks will “own the sky” this year! A portion of proceeds will go to our “Goose” aka Lynnville-Sully Community Education Foundation!

Make sure you click “Load More” at the bottom of the page to see all available options.

The webstore will close promptly at noon on Friday, September 18. No late orders will be accepted but we will have extras available at our Homecoming Pop-Up - details coming soon!
