According to Littering in Context, "Studies reveal that 85% of littering is driven by individual attitudes, heavily influenced by existing conditions. People are far more likely to litter in a park that already has accumulated trash or lacks a sense of community ownership."
Several NHS members picked up trash around school grounds and Wyman Park as part of our monthly service to the school and community.
