It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of the sweetest boys, Ryder Terry.

Ryder was a beloved part of the Steps of Faith family. His kind heart and unforgettable smile could brighten anyone's day. He brought so much fun, joy, and laughter to our classrooms. He will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Our hearts are broken for the Terry family, especially his parents, brothers, and all who knew and loved him. We pray that God surrounds them with His peace, comfort, and strength in the days ahead.

Please keep the Terry family in your prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

You will always be a part of the Steps of Faith family, Ryder. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered. ❤️

🌟 We are excited to share some wonderful news from Steps of Faith Child Care Ministry! 🌟

Over the past few weeks, we have completed both our state Licensing Inspection and our annual Paths to Quality visit—and we are proud to announce that we received ZERO citations during our licensing inspection and have successfully maintained our Level 3 Paths to Quality Rating! 🎉

Yesterday, our Paths to Quality rater spent time reviewing our classrooms, health and safety practices, learning environments, and observing our teachers as they worked with the children. We are thrilled to report that the visit went very well, and we will continue to hold our Level 3 rating.

This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the dedication and hard work of our amazing staff. They put tremendous effort into creating engaging lessons, meaningful learning experiences, and nurturing environments that encourage growth, curiosity, and education for every child in our care.

We are incredibly thankful for our team and so proud of all they do each day. Their commitment to the children and families we serve is truly remarkable. ❤️

Today we want to take a moment to recognize the incredible teachers and staff at Steps of Faith Child Care. 💜
Child care is not just a job it is a calling. Every single day our teachers pour their hearts into loving, teaching, comforting, encouraging, and caring for the children in our program. From wiping tears and celebrating milestones to creating fun learning experiences and giving endless hugs, they do it all with patience and dedication.
What many people do not see are the long days, the hard work, the emotional energy, and the constant commitment it takes to care for children well. Our staff shows up every day ready to love your children like their own, and we are beyond thankful for each one of them.

Several Steps of Faith staff members participated in the Childcare Provider Resource and Professional Development Event at Ivy Tech, which was sponsored by the United Way and Success by 6 Coalition. The day included learning new strategies, collaborating with colleagues, and enjoying a day of professional growth together.

For 15 years, Steps of Faith has been blessed to serve our community. This weekend, we spent time purging and disposing of worn and broken toys that have been well loved over the years.

To continue providing a safe and engaging environment for our children, we are working to replace many of these items. To help minimize costs, we’ve created an Amazon wishlist where items can be purchased and shipped directly to our classrooms.
