🏆 Field of Dens 🏆

Our first-ever Field of Dens was a huge success! Scholars in Pre-K through 2nd grade battled it out on the field, showing teamwork, sportsmanship, and Panther PRIDE in exciting events like tug-of-war, basketball, and more.

A special thank you to our coaches and teachers for planning and leading this fun-filled day for our scholars. We are also grateful to our community partners and for their continued support of our Panther community.

Last week, Suitland Elementary held our first-ever Girls Empowerment Day! It was an inspiring afternoon filled with positive affirmations, creativity, confidence-building, and community.

A special thank you to Ms. Postell for leading this meaningful event and creating a space where our girls could learn, grow, and shine. Thank you also to Ms. Liburd, our Community Schools Coordinator, for connecting us with amazing community partners who helped make this day possible.

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade scholars on a successful Spring Instrumental Concert! 🎶🌸 Our students did an amazing job showcasing their hard work and musical talents. A special thank you to Ms. Cohen, our instrumental music teacher, for leading and inspiring our scholars every step of the way. We are so proud of our Panthers! 🐾🎺🎻

Congratulations to Dr. Malissa Parnell on an incredible * #39 years of service** in education!

Last week, our school community came together to celebrate Dr. Parnell’s retirement with music, songs, poetry, laughter, and heartfelt tributes from students and staff. It was a joyful and meaningful celebration of her dedication, leadership, and the lasting impact she has made on generations of scholars, families, and colleagues.

Thank you, Dr. Parnell, for 39 years of service, your caring heart, listening ear, and unwavering commitment to children. Your presence will be deeply missed, but your legacy will continue to inspire us for years to come.

A special thank you to Ms. Liburd , our Community Schools Coordinator, for planning this memorable celebration and helping make the day so special.

💐 Today we celebrated our amazing moms and mother figures at Martial Arts with Moms! Families had a great time learning self-defense moves together with their scholars while building confidence, teamwork, and fun memories.
A huge thank you to Mr. Ray and Mrs. Jay from Fitness Martial Arts for leading such an exciting experience for our Panther families!
