Dulles Elementary PTO

Meet The Teacher night will be held August 20, 2015 from 6:00pm-7:00pm. On this evening, the students will find out who their teacher is and you will be able to tour the school. The cafeteria will be open if you would like to put money in your child's lunch account. Also, please feel free to bring your child's school supplies! This will help them so they aren't trying to carry everything the first day of school.

This is to remind you that Dulles Elementary Holiday Gift Shop will be open this entire week, from December 1st - December 5th during the cafeteria lunchtimes. If your child wishes to shop on one or more of those days, please have him or her bring money in the envelopes we sent home before the break.

The Gift Shop will also be open on Monday afternoon, December 1st, from 3:00 to 6:00p.m., to give parents an opportunity to shop with their children or to see what is available. We hope to see many of you there!

Spring Creek BBQ will donate 20% of all the evenings proceeds to the PTO. This includes to-go orders!

Come see your teachers serve bread in the Spring Creek dining room. The class with the best attendance will be given a prize by Spring Creek.

Open House is Thursday night ( 9-18-14) from 6:00-7:30. You will have an opportunity to see two teachers if you have more than one child attending Dulles Elementary. Please come out to get valuable information given by your child's teacher.

This is a reminder for returning parents and notification for new parents to Dulles Elementary.
The main entrance is closed from 7:30-8:10 AM every morning. All car riders must enter at the red light at Viking Lane. Once you enter please proceed to the stop sign and make a left. Do not turn left behind the stadium. Once you make the left, you should now be in our car rider drop off lane. Proceed towards the school and make another left to drop off your student(s). You will follow the same traffic pattern in the afternoons for pick up.
Please follow these procedures in the AM and PM for the safe arrival and departure of our students.
Students are allowed to enter the building at 7:30 AM and will be counted tardy if they are not in the classroom by 8:10 AM. Our school days ends at 3:10 PM and all car riders must be pickd up no later than 3:30 PM.
Please be patiernt during the first few days as we anticipate a high volume of car riders.

Please update your FBISD Criminal History Application after July 1, 2014!
To be eligible to participate for the 2014-2015 school year, your name must appear on the 2014-2015 Campus Cleared Volunteer List.

If you wish to be involved in FBISD in the subsequent school year in any of the areas listed below, you are required to update your criminal history application after July 1 each school year. PRIOR to participating in the areas listed below (but not limited to), you must receive a 2014-2015 Criminal History Clearance Notification which is sent to the email address you provide in your criminal history application.

Dulles Elementary will be holding Meet the Teacher night on August 21, 2014 from 4:30-6:30. This is your opportunity to meet your new teacher, deliver school supplies, add money to lunch accounts, and buy spirit wear and other items that are needed for a successful school year. You can come and go anytime between 4:30-6:30.

Boosterthon Update

Due to the weather forecast tomorrow, we’ve had to make some changes to the Boosterthon Fun Run. It will go on as planned, however, it will be held inside the cafeteria. The students will run during their LAMP time (please see the schedule below). We would love for you to come by and cheer on your Little Vikings!
Also, tonight is the last night for pledges, so finish strong!

Just a reminder, the last day to turn in pledges is Thursday, April 3rd.

Thank you for your support of the Dulles Little Vikings through the Boosterthon Fun Run! We are just getting stared with the program and the Boosterthon Fun Run event is quickly approaching. The students are having a blast learning about FRIENDSHIP through the CAMP HIGH FIVE theme! So far this week, we learned that FRIENDS TEAM UP, RESPECT OTHERS, and that Friends DON’T Bully!
I hope that you are logging on to funrun.com with your students every night and watching the Camp High Five character videos, as well as getting pledges to help our school. The weekend is one of the best opportunities to get pledges, and we are challenging every student to try to get up to $2 per lap (or a $60 Flat Donation) in new pledges this weekend to earn a bonus prize, the Crazy Hair Ball! Remember, we are working hard to earn a playground canopy and more for our school!
If you're unable to log in pledges onto funrun.com, you can help your students write in their pledges into their pldgebooks and turn them in to your teacher! Also, parents and sponsors are not required to turn in their payments until after the students run in the Boosterthon Fun Run next Thursday, March 27th!
