Day 4 at Makarios- LP students painted, planted, and played and later honored the seniors of the Makarios school with a special dinner and presentation.

New Parent Kick-Start training prepared new families for the school year ahead. Parents learned how to order books and uniforms, received ideas for setting up a satellite classroom, gained useful resources for academic partnerships and built community with other families.

Day 3 at Makarios was full of painting and restoration, teaching and playing with students at the school, and some meaningful fireside discussions.

Day 2 at Makarios... Our LP group continues to connect with students and shine God's light to the school community.

Alexander Alcorn (LP 2022) graduated from Abilene Christian University and received a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Finance, Summa Cum Laude. He is seen here celebrating with his LP alumni siblings and current LP student cousins.

Cobi Lockett (LP 2013) received her Juris Doctorate degree from George Washington University Law School.

Caleb Watt (LP 2022) recently received a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry with honors from the Honors College at Texas Tech University. He has been hired to do research in a clinical lab. He and his fiancée, Cora, have an October wedding planned.

Day one in the DR: Today our students kicked off their mission work at Makarios. They were greeted with the biggest smiles, warmest hugs, and endless energy and spent the day teaching, playing, and connecting with these incredible kids. The students are deeply grateful for this opportunity and excited for the week ahead. Please pray for strength and open hearts as they continue to serve this week.

Reminder-- Summer Book and Uniform Sale at 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. this Wednesday, May 27th at the 59 Campus. Bring items by the school on Tuesday or starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

What to Bring:
Required books for any grade level, uniforms, spirit wear, jackets, sweaters, LP sports/athletic gear, and anything that you have posted on Lions List that hasn't sold yet.

Pricing: Individual families determine the prices for their items. All proceeds will be collected and returned after the sale. Venmo and Zelle payments are welcome.

Delivery: Clothing items should be placed on hangers with an envelope attached that includes family name, price for the item, and Venmo QR code or Zelle phone number for easy payment. Please include an envelope with this information inside each book you wish to sell.

Free/Donation Area: There will also be a free/donation section where items can be donated to other families.

Mickey Allen (LP 2023) graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance. His fiancé Ava Oliver (LP 2022) graduated with a bachelor's degree in public health.

Anna McCormack (LP 2022) received a Bachelor of Science in marketing with minors in Spanish and communications from Trinity University. She is excited to start her new job with Frost Bank.

Kailey McKeever (LP 2022) received a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Texas A&M University. She plans to work in sales.

Isabelle Parry (LP 2020) graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Master of Science degree in forensic chemistry. She is looking forward to her new job in forensic toxicology.

Austen Say (LP 2021) graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in computer science, and recently completed a master's degree in finance. He will soon begin his job at Texas Instruments in Dallas.
