Meet Brianna Demmi, eighth grade math teacher and P.E. teacher at Brooks Street. Ms. Demmi is a 2022 Logos Prep alum and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor majoring in physical education and coaching. This is her first year teaching, but second year as an LP junior high track coach.

Her family includes her parents, sister, and five little dogs including the baby, a terrier mix named Sprocket. She loves coffee and reading, preferably at the same time, and her favorite Bible verse is Romans 8:28.

Meet Roxy Hagy, our new events coordinator. Her family is from the Bronx (Yankees and Knicks fans for life) but growing up as a self professed army brat, Roxy was born at Ft. Hood, Texas. She has taught preschool for 20 years, most recently as preschool director at Crossbridge Church, and has been a K-2 music teacher at Logos Prep for five years. She also served as an LP spirit coordinator for several years.

She and husband, Dave, have been married for 28 years and they have three children: Isabel, age 26, Jada, age 24, and Roman, age 19, as well as one granddaughter, Ximena age two. Roxy loves to work out every day, is an avid reader, and a big foodie. She loves to cook, mainly Mexican or Puerto Rican food as that is what she ate growing up. A talented singer, she loves to sing praise and worship music.

Meet Kati Hulbert, new 7th grade science teacher. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing and has spent 23 years as a nurse in Trauma/Burns ICU, PICU, PACU, and as a school nurse, including serving six years with Logos Prep.

Mrs. Hulbert and husband, Shane, have two children, Ari, a junior, and Isaac, a seventh grader, both at Logos Prep. She loves reading, serving in medical missions, and making bread. Her favorite Bible verse is Galatians 6:9.

Meet James Riddick, AP computer science teacher and junior high golf coach. Originally from Florida he grew up in a military family so he lived all over the world. He graduated from the University of Richmond where he played college football, and has taught math and coached in public schools in Florida, Virginia, and Texas for ten years. He was most recently named District Teacher of the Year for Fort Bend ISD in 2023.

He and wife, Madeline, have two daughters, Abigail and Jordana, as well as two Yorkies, Mia and Tico. Coach Riddick enjoys lifting weights, reading his Bible, playing video games, spending time with his family, and watching and playing sports. His favorite dessert is HEB Cookies Over Texas ice cream and Haribo gummy candy, his favorite verses are Proverbs 3:56 and 1 Corinthians 9:24, and he loves any song by Forrest Frank.
