You have an estate. Yes, YOU. 👀
Say the word estate and people start picturing mansions, millions of dollars and somebody's wealthy uncle who died and left everybody fighting over the family fortune.
Meanwhile, Professor Claiborne is over here thinking about your house.
Your bank account.
Your car.
Your TikTok account.
And yes…my handbags. 😂
Because somewhere along the way, we made the word estate sound like something reserved for wealthy people.
It isn't.
You have an estate right now. While you're alive.
That's one of the lessons we're learning in Wills, Trusts & Probate Administration this week, and it's a lesson that's too important to leave in my classroom.
Because if you hear “estate planning” and immediately think that's not for me, you may never ask the questions that actually ARE about you.
What do you own? How is it titled? Who has authority if you can't act for yourself? What does your family know, and what are you simply assuming they know?
And listen, planning doesn't mean you stop enjoying what you've worked for.
Protect the Bag. Grow the Bag. Enjoy the Bag. And THEN Pass the Bag On.
I went deeper into this week's lesson over on Substack.

And don't get too comfortable after class.
Next week I'm introducing you to Farmer Brown. 👀😂
CLASS DISMISSED. 👩🏾🏫⚖️
But some lessons are too important to leave in the classroom.
