Happy World Doula Week! 🌎❤️

A week to celebrate all doulas out there doing an incredible work supporting families during one the most important times in their lives.

My journey as a doula started in 2019, so not long ago if you think about it. But I have grown so much since then. I have read (a lot), learned and received so much from my trainers and other doulas, I have experienced so many things during each birth, during each meeting with the moms, and their partners.
I feel like another person because being a doula takes all of you to make it better to care and support even better the next family.

Today, I am sharing the picture taken after my 1st birth support as a doula! Every birth is special, but that one is particularly unforgettable. Everything made even a better sense. I was just where I wanted to be, doing something I'm passionate about and so meaningful.

Being a doula takes a lot of you but it gives you so much in return!💛

Yesterday was back-to-school day for both my daughters after more than 2 months of summer break. We celebrated their birthdays, spent time together, went on family vacation to France, visited family and friends, organized playdates… Summer went by so fast!
My eldest daughter is starting Middle School, it is a huge step for her and for me! I must admit that I was probably more stressed out than her. Whatever their age, each step in their life is so important.
Today, I feel full of energy, ready to go back to the job I love, and support new moms during their motherhood journey!

Hier, c'était la rentrée pour mes deux filles après plus de 2 mois de vacances d'été. Nous avons fêté leurs anniversaires, passé du temps ensemble, sommes partis en vacances en famille en France, avons rendu visite à de la famille et des amis, organisé des playdates… L'été est passé si vite !
Ma fille aînée entre au collège, c'est un grand pas pour elle et pour moi ! Je dois admettre que j'étais probablement plus stressée qu'elle. Quel que soit leur âge, chaque étape de leur vie est si importante.
Aujourd'hui, je me sens pleine d'énergie, prête à reprendre le travail que j'adore et à accompagner les nouvelles mamans dans leur parcours de maternité !

After a beautiful birth on Sunday, I am getting ready for the first in-home postpartum visit! 🥰

I am bringing with me a few treats for mom: Chocolate, Homemade soaps, Homemade ni**le balm, Homemade lip balm, Homemade dinosaur stuffed animal, Homemade bath salts, and Herbal tea.
