October Student Spotlight: Meet Jaydon: he has been active in our studio for the past 8 years, and is currently a senior in high school! Many students struggle to continue with piano lessons as they enter the busier years of middle and high school. Jaydon has shown perserverance and continues to progress, despite having a rigorous schedule.
What is your practice schedule? I try to get some practice in everyday, even 15-20 minutes during busy times.
What do you enjoy most about playing piano? The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece!
What is your favorite style of music to play? Expressive, lyrical
What's your practice tip for other students? Spend more time on one thing - lots of repetition - before moving on.

What do you like most about piano? Feeling connected to the music.
What's your favorite style of music to play? CHRISTMAS!!!
Can you share a practice tip for other students? I like to set a benchmark goal for my daily practice, and then try to exceed it. I like to make my goal easy to meet so I can usually go above it.
