It's with great excitement that we extend a congratulations to Mr. Jonathan Coggeshall as he joins our faculty as Middle School Teacher at Suffolk Christian Academy! π
As an SCA alumnus and SCA staff member since 2021, Mr. Coggeshall knows firsthand the impact of a Christ-centered education, and we're excited to see him continue to invest in the lives of today's students in this new role. He recently earned his Bachelor's degree in History from Regent University. In addition to his passion for history, he brings a wealth of knowledge in linguistics and a variety of other subjects, creating an engaging and enriching learning environment for his students.
When he's not in the classroom, Mr. Coggeshall enjoys playing music as independent musician. Fun fact: he can read the Cyrillic (Russian) alphabet!
We're so grateful for Mr. Coggeshall's commitment to Christian education. Please join us in giving him a warm welcome and congratulations as he begins this exciting new chapter with our middle school students. We can't wait to see all that the Lord has in store this school year!

We are excited to introduce another new face to the SCA Knights family! Join us in welcoming Mrs. Samantha Graham as our new Lower School - Resource Teacher (PE and Library)! ππ€
Mrs. Graham has a passion for helping children learn and grow, with years of experience in a variety of settings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education from Liberty University. After completing her internships and student teaching with Chesapeake Public Schools, she served as a long-term substitute, SOL tutor, and full-time 5th grade teacher with Suffolk Public Schools. For the past five years, she has enjoyed homeschooling her own children and is excited to begin this new chapter at SCA.
When she's not teaching, you'll likely find her strength training, going for a walk, reading a good book, or dreaming about her next beach day. She also loves learning about vehicles and enjoys watching car tours on YouTube (The Car Mom). Fun fact β she'd happily drive a different vehicle every few weeks if she could! Most of all, she treasures spending time with her family.
We are excited to see how Mrs. Graham's gifts strengthen the mission and vision of SCA! Welcome aboard! π

β½ That's a wrap on SCA Athletics Summer Camps!
Our soccer campers, representing a variety of grade levels, came together all week to work hard, build endurance, and sharpen their skills on the field. From conditioning and footwork to passing, shooting, ball control, and teamwork, it was a week full of growth, encouragement, and fun!
A huge thank you to our coaches and volunteers for investing your time and energy into these young athletes all summer long. Your dedication helped make each camp a success, and we are so grateful for the impact you've made on our future Knights. ππ€
And just like that, our SCA Sports Camps have officially come to an end for the summer! We loved seeing so many students learning new skills, making friends, and growing in confidence.
π Now the countdown is on... only 18 days until the first day of school! We can't wait to welcome everyone back to campus for another incredible year. Go Knights! β½ππ

π Alumni Spotlight: Noah Nickert ('14) π
Since graduating from SCA in 2014, Noah has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a minor in Finance from the College of William & Mary, graduating cm laude, and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of MichiganβFlint. Today, he serves as Controller for Alfiniti Inc., where he continues to grow as a leader in the manufacturing industry. Noah and his wife are also enjoying life as parents to their almost two-year-old daughter.
One of Noah's favorite memories from SCA was winning two conference baseball championships, but he also values the lasting impact of the teachers who invested in both his education and his walk with Christ. He shares that SCA's close-knit community and caring faculty helped shape not only his academic success but also his daily life and relationship with God.
We are proud of all that Noah has accomplished and look forward to seeing where God continues to lead him!
