What an incredible first day at camp! Day one was filled with laughter, new friendships, hands-on learning, and plenty of time spent with our favorite four-legged and furry friends. From meeting the horses to making memories around the barn, our campers jumped right into the fun.

Watching these kids build confidence, learn new skills, and create friendships that may last a lifetime is exactly what camp is all about. We are so proud of each and every camper and can’t wait to see what adventures the rest of the week brings!

Now accepting a limited number of riders for our Show Team at our boutique, up-and-coming program in Suffolk.

Designed with young riders, Adult amateur’s and their families in mind, our program offers a welcoming, structured introduction to horseback riding with a clear, supportive path into horse shows. Whether your child is brand new to horses or ready to take the next step, we focus on building confidence, strong fundamentals, and a genuine love for the sport in a safe and encouraging environment.

With kind, experienced lesson horses, thoughtfully selected lease opportunities, and personalized instruction, each rider receives the attention they need to grow and succeed. Our team program introduces riders to the excitement of competition at a pace that feels comfortable, while emphasizing horsemanship, responsibility, and sportsmanship along the way.

For families interested in showing, we provide guidance every step of the journey—from first lessons to local shows and beyond—creating a positive, polished experience both in and out of the ring.

Bridlewood Equestrian Center is excited to welcome Tori Dugie of Dragonfly Eventing!

Tori will be offering trailer-in lessons and setting aside dedicated days to provide her services here at Bridlewood as we continue to expand our boarding program and create more opportunities for lessons and showing.

Tori is an accomplished FEI 3* and Advanced level event rider, as well as a USDF Bronze Medalist, currently working toward completing her PSG scores for her Silver Medal this year.

She brings extensive experience producing horses from the ground up and has worked with a wide variety of breeds and types, including OTTBs, ponies, Arabians, drafts, imported warmbloods, and even gaited horses.

Her competition resume includes the American Eventing Championships, Area Championships, and multiple Dressage Championships (Region 1, GAIG, and BLM). She has also successfully developed and shown young horses at top venues such as Devon, Kentucky, Tryon, and the Young Horse Finals, along with participating in breed inspections.

Tori’s training philosophy blends natural horsemanship with classical dressage foundations, creating a thoughtful, horse-first approach. She works with riders of all levels and disciplines and is known for fostering a positive, supportive learning environment in every lesson.

It was the kind of perfect spring day at Bridlewood that you wish you could bottle up and keep. There was a quiet peace across the farm as Bill dragged the arena, getting it ready for the dressage ring to be reassembled, this time by boarders who have truly become friends.

It felt like something shifted… like the weight of a long, hard winter finally lifted, carried off with the breeze. In its place came that unmistakable feeling of spring, fresh starts, new energy, and the promise of what’s ahead.

Sundays at Bridlewood, especially with the BW Saddle Club, are quickly becoming a new favorite.
