Thank you to all the Conway’s families who donated to PJ Day today! The children loved dropping their money in the collection jar and talking about why we were wearing our pajamas and collecting money for CCMC. Thanks to everyone’s participation and generosity, a check for $171.00 is being mailed to the Connecticut Children’s Medical Foundation. For more information about how this initiative was started (by kids!!!) or to make an online donation, please visit:

D is for duck! There’s nothing better than having a duck appear at your classroom’s door after reading a book called, DUCK AT THE DOOR. The students at Conway’s enjoyed the story and were excited to meet and learn about their surprise guest, Petunia the duck. 📚🐥

Boxes and bales and boards, oh my! After being introduced to and working with the letter b all week, students at Conway’s had the opportunity to build and navigate a letter b-themed obstacle course as a culminating activity. Students were challenged to balance on the boards, hop from bale to bale, and avoid falling into the water (grass) as they hopped from cardboard box boat to cardboard box boat. It was fun to see everyone enjoying the obstacle course and also using their imaginations when they started turning the boxes into houses, rocket ships , sleighs, and more.
