A new training year has begun at CFOT!

This morning, the Rescued Session and Proclaimers of Transformation joined our CFOT community for our first worship service of the year, led by Training Principal Lt. Colonel James LaBossiere.

It was a meaningful way to begin the year together, grounded in worship and focused on God as we look ahead to all He has in store.

This morning, before the day begins, our CFOT faculty and second-year cadets gathered together in prayer for a very special group making their way to campus.

Months of anticipation have led to this day, and we are excited to see all that God will do in and through the Rescued Session during their time at the College for Officer Training. Rescued Session, we’ve been praying for you. We’re ready to welcome you home!

"The greatest joy I’m experiencing as a cadet is the desire to dig into God’s Word and really strive for holiness.

My desire to be close with God has only grown stronger since dedicating my life to service in The Salvation Army. I wake up each morning energized that I get to start fresh and live my life in a way that’s honoring the Lord.

As we celebrate Independence Day, we pray for God's continued guidance and grace upon our nation, our communities, and all who call this country home.

The Fellowship of the Silver Star Dinner was a meaningful time of celebration and gratitude as we honored the parents, guardians, and significant life mentors who helped shape the lives and ministries of the Keepers of the Covenant Session.

Established in 1930 and later expanded worldwide, the Fellowship of the Silver Star recognizes the invaluable role that family members and mentors play in nurturing and encouraging those called to serve as Salvation Army Officers. This special gathering provided an opportunity to express appreciation for their love, sacrifice, guidance, and faithful support throughout the cadets’ journey.
