🎨 Process Art vs. Arts & Crafts 💙

There’s a difference, and it matters.

Arts and crafts often focus on following steps to create a finished product.

Process art focuses on the experience.

A little oldie but goodie from when we first opened our doors in November! 🥹💛

From the very beginning, we’ve been practicing our calming breaths as part of Conscious Discipline. 🌬️ These simple breathing strategies give children tools they can use to slow their bodies, manage big feelings, and begin building lifelong self-regulation skills.

We’ve had a few families asking about the breaths we practice at school, so we thought we’d bring these favorites back! Here are a few examples you can practice right along with us at home. 🫶
