The world Olympics may have just ended but the Co-op Winter Olympic Games have just begun….

The Sudbury Cooperative Preschool will be closed tomorrow, February 24, 2026 due to the snowstorm. Sudbury Public Schools is also closed! We can’t wait to get back to school so the kids can enjoy all this great snow.

Due to the upcoming snowstorm and for the safety of our families and staff the Sudbury Cooperative Preschool will be closed tomorrow, February 23, 2026.

It’s cold outside but it was warm and beachy at the Co-op Beach Party today! A big shout out to all our amazing families who braved the cold to come out and have some fun. And to for the wonderful music and games. And of course to for the delicious pizza!

The Action Bus has become an intricate part of our enrichment programming. The kids love their time running through the obstacle course swinging on the rings, balancing on the beam, sliding down the slide all while pretending not to fall into the “slime” We the !

Dramatic Play is a big part of preschool learning!
Pretend play promotes cooperative play, imagination, language development, problem-solving, social-emotional skills, empathy, creativity, and self-regulation.
When children pretend, they’re not “just playing” — they’re practicing real-life skills, building confidence, and making sense of their experiences.
During the winter months, the children love learning and talking about hibernation and animals’ experiences in the cold. Creating camping scenes, building bear caves, going ice fishing, and even pretending to have big bear paws are fun, hands-on ways to bring learning to life!

The moments throughout the day when you notice you’re twinning your Co-op school spirit you have to share a hug and a photo ❤️

Fine motor journals are one of our favorite parts of Pre-K! There’s always a hands-on way to practice letter formation while building grip strength and proper pencil grasp. Letter I activity: Poke It!
Our kiddos loved poking their way through the upper and lowercase I - such a fun way to combine focus, motor skills, and learning letters.

Nothing better than starting the day with the amazing learning stations our classes create! Kids of all ages dive in, explore, and make them their own. Learning has never looked so fun!
