🔬✨ Curiosity was in full bloom during Science Explorers Week!

Our young scientists spent the week asking questions, making predictions, and discovering how science is all around them. They made homemade butter, observed capillary action in flowers, created spin art and seed mosaics, grew seeds in window bags, explored the exciting Mentos and soda reaction, made sun prints, and tested paper airplane designs.

Every hands-on activity inspired curiosity, problem-solving, and a love of learning through play. 🧪☀️💚

🌺 Aloha Adventure week at Sunny Hill! 🌺

Our students had so much fun exploring Hawaii through hands-on activities, process art, and engaging stories! 🌋🌊

We made erupting volcanoes, created textured ocean artwork, painted and decorated seashells, and crafted colorful leis. Along the way, we enjoyed reading books about Hawaii, its culture, and its traditions.

It was a week filled with creativity, curiosity, and the Aloha spirit! 🌴☀️💛

What a successful first week of Summers at Sunny Hill! 🌻☀️

Our “The Very Busy Campers” week, inspired by Eric Carle, brought stories to life through process art, water play, bikes, chalk and literacy activities. Students explored favorites like Mister Seahorse, The Very Busy Spider, A House for Hermit Crab, and Pancakes, Pancakes. What a fun-filled week of creativity, learning, and exploration! 📚🕸️🎨🥞

The excitement at Sunny Hill has grown this week as each class released their butterflies! Watching the butterfly life cycle unfold is always a highlight of the school year as students observe each stage with curiosity, wonder, and excitement. Seeing the butterflies take flight is always a special learning experience! 🦋
