We had such a special time celebrating Grandparents Day at Learning Tree Academy today! Our children loved welcoming some of their favorite people into their classrooms and spending a little extra time together.

There were crafts, pizza, juice, lots of smiles, and—most importantly—special memories made together. 🥰

A great afternoon of professional development as we get ready for the new school year! 📚🍎

Today our team completed a Grow NJ Kids training on Room Arrangement and how the classroom environment becomes a child’s third teacher. We explored ways to intentionally design our classrooms by creating defined learning centers, separating active and quiet play areas, making materials accessible to encourage independence, and using natural, inviting spaces that encourage creativity, exploration, and meaningful play.

We’re excited to put these ideas into action as we continue preparing for Teacher In-Service Day next month and another amazing school year at Learning Tree Academy! 💚

⭐ Learning Tree Academy has officially earned a 3-Star Grow NJ Kids rating! ⭐

After two years of hard work, we’re proud to be recognized for meeting New Jersey’s quality standards in early childhood education.

We’re also celebrating Ms. Nicole and Ms. Natalie for earning their CDA credentials. A special congratulations to Ms. Natalie, who completed the NJ Apprenticeship Program, combining classroom learning with hands-on experience. Thank you to Ms. Candice, whose mentorship, encouragement, and constant support helped make this achievement possible.
