This summer is racing by and school is right around the corner! Here are a few dates to keep you in the loop!

We wanted to take a minute and celebrate the work of our nutrition team in serving the community this summer through the Free Summer Meals program!

The program has now concluded, but over the summer, NSSD staff served free breakfasts and lunches to kids 18 and under! This service was provided through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), a Federal program that sets standards and provides reimbursement for healthy meals and snacks served to eligible children. We appreciate the staff who worked during the break to provide this support for students and families.

👉 REGISTER ONLINE TODAY: Check the comments for the link and head over to create your parent account, build your student's profile, and sign your forms. The first day of Fall Sports (Football, Volleyball, Boys & Girls Soccer, Cheerleading, & Boys & Girls Cross Country) begins Monday, August 17th!

💡 Quick Tips for Registration:
1️⃣ Students must sign their forms prior to practice. Student Emails: Students must use their official NSSD school account email address (e.g., [email protected]).
2️⃣ Sports Physicals: If you have an updated physical on file (that has not expired), we will transfer it for you. Need to submit a new one? You can snap a photo of the front and back and upload it straight from your phone! 📸

♥️🐾 To kick off the school year, we are hosting our annual Open House on Wednesday, August 26th from
5:30-7:00pm. Elementary students will find their classroom assignments at the gate on Pine St and middle school students will receive their schedules at the middle school main office. We look forward to seeing all of you at Open House!

Student Registration- As a reminder, if you have not already done so, please take a moment to register your student online. This is a crucial step to ensure we have your child’s most updated information for the new school year!

A few helpful reminders:

✅ Select 2026–2027 (not the current year).
✅ Be sure to click Save and Submit before exiting.
✅ If you're enrolling a new Kindergartener and have an existing student, log in to ParentVUE and select "Add New Student."

Incoming Kindergarten families will need:
• Birth Certificate
• Immunization Records
• Proof of Address

Please take a moment to update your address (if you've moved) and review your emergency contacts and phone numbers.
