It has been a very long wait to play Native American flute publicly (due to COVID) but at the of the month I am scheduled for a performance that will incorporate the NAF history and tunes. I will make sure I am distanced appropriately.

It's been too long since I posted anything. I am hoping that by the end of February some thing exciting will develop and I will be sharing news about a NA flute group happening near Troy area. A harp friend of mine and I will be talking more about this possibility and then I will spread the news. In the meantime, I will post some NA flute live music VERY soon.

It's going to be September soon. Who wants to play the NA style flute in a friendly, 'no wrong note' atmosphere, learn tips and techniques, once a month on a Sunday afternoon And other acoustic flute-friendly, instruments welcome??!! I have several flutes that are sanitizable in Key of Am and a couple in F if you don't already own a NA flute and want to try one during session.

I know it has been a long time. I have an order in place for several flutes in Am and a couple in F that are ideal for backpacking, resistant to weather conditions, and fully sanitizable because they are not wood - yet they are very safe, food grade PVC (that means they are not toxic!). I have a school/library presentation that I will be showing and teaching with these coming up this month for children. I will post pictures of these soon. They are made by Laughing Crow, Richard Maynard. I may sell a few and/or take orders after the library camp workshop.

Also, with several flutes around, a flute circle/workshop for beginner adults could be scheduled with enough interest. Stay posted.

It is September and with Fall on its way, that means it is time to re-organize and get some people together for another flute playing session. I will be contacting interested previous flute group attendees very soon and hope to spread the word through social media. Let's grow!
