As we approach our country's 250th Anniversary on Sat. July 4th, we realize many of you will have plans for that weekend. Therefore we will have NO dancing @ The Tipsy Kiwi on Friday, July 3rd. See you on the 17th and have a safe celebration!

Because of your commitment, dedication, and support of my teaching/entertainment efforts throughout my career, I am happy to announce that Kenosha American Legion Post 21 has agreed to allow me to host 2 ‘Open Dance’ Sundays, on July 26 & Aug. 23, 1-4pm. Contact me with your early song requests, and as I always do, I’ll try to brush up for any quick walkthroughs. How many ‘Oldies’ can you remember?

Countdown to Kenosha Junior Woman’s Club Fundraiser to benefit the music departments of local schools because kids need instruments. Please plan to join the fun at American Legion Post 21, 504 58th St. this coming Sunday, May 31.

Starting at 1pm, Debi Bodven will offer FREE Line Dance lessons, and more experienced Dancers will strut their stuff to a variety of music genres. $15 at the door, food & beverage available in the hall. No carry ins please.

Attention Dancers,
For those of you that will be coming to the American Legion Hall, in Kenosha, on Sunday, May 31st for the Kenosha Junior Women’s Club Fundraiser to benefit the music departments of local schools, we need your early dance requests. I plan on teaching 1 dance per hour to the general public, however that hour must include your exhibition dances to show off to the general public, otherwise known as ‘open dance’. As is always the case, if we have your music we’ll play it. So get together with your dancing friends and share your requests here. Only 29 more sleeps. 5, 6, 7, 8 go!
