More fun at Sturgis High School - Michigan in Geometry class. Students were told George Washington’s face was 60 ft tall on Mt. Rushmore and were asked to fine the length of his nose. To do this they measured their own faces and noses and set up a proportional equation.

Great first week back in the math classroom Sturgis High School - Michigan!! PreCalc measured the bounciness of slinkies. Alg 2 tested their teamwork skills making 3d shapes with one loop of yarn. Alg 1 strategized while playing Ultimate Tic Tac Toe.

We are making great gains here at Sturgis High School - Michigan Math. NWEA scores are in and we are seeing growth! From school year 22-23 to 23-24 with the adoption of our new curriculum, scores went up 12 percentiles in average with a growth in the 77th percentile. Scores continued to go up 5 more percentiles in average in 24-25 with a growth in the 57th percentile. This year scores are also above the National RIT norm in all three grades tested! Great job students and teachers! You worked hard this year!
