Cozy in with a book.

Meade School District 46-1 will have a 2-hour late start today, Friday, Dec 12, 2025. This includes Sturgis Elementary, Sturgis Williams MS, Sturgis Brown HS, Piedmont Valley Elementary, Stagebarn MS, Whitewood Elementary, and the rural schools.

Busses will be running 2 hours later than normal.

Just a reminder that if you happened to stumble across a missing library book over break... we still want it. Sturgis Elementary just put one back on the shelf that was due in 2017. Totally made our day.

If you're at a new school in the district, no worries. Take it to the library and they will send it on to the correct building.
