TLS Weekly Wrap-up
Each week is full of exciting adventures here at Trinity. From unique learning opportunities, to out of the box art projects. We use many different teaching strategies to reinforce our learning and keep our students engaged. We also seek unique outside of school excursions and trips to enhance our learning. Check out this week’s photos where our students were able to be a part of our Christ-centered education here at TLS!

TLS Weekly Wrap up
Trinity Lutheran School had planned a full week of school filled with lots of learning. We are happy to report that our students did indeed experience lots of learning this week! In addition to our normal lessons, students also started taking the Fall NWEA standardized testing. All students from kindergarten through eighth grade will complete their fall benchmark assessments for NWEA by the end of next week. Students will test again in the Winter and Spring to help us evaluate that our learning standards are being met across all classrooms. As always, we appreciate the opportunity to be a part of our students’ education and walk with Christ!

TLS Weekly Wrap Up
This week kicked off with our students and staff enjoying a day of rest. Some used that day of rest to rest; others visited our St. Joseph County Grange Fair. No matter how we spent Monday we all came back together on Tuesday. We filled our short week with as much faith, fun, and learning as possible. Enjoy our photos from both this week and last week!

TLS Weekly Wrap Up

This week we celebrated National Constitution and Citizenship Day. In 1787 our forefathers met for the Constitutional Convention and wrote a ground breaking document that would forever change the future of the United States of America. As a country of only 13 states our Constitution went into effect in 1789, after only 9 states had approved of it. By 1790 all 13 states has approved our Constitution.

This week our students learned about our Constitution in their classrooms. We thought we would share the purpose of the Constitution, as a reminder, with our grown-ups. By sharing this, we hope it can start conversations, create a bridge between home and school, and show our students we are united in their education!

“We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”
U.S. Constitution – Preamble

Fun Fact: Did you know the U.S. Constitution has only been amended 27 times since 1789?

TLS Weekly Wrap-up
What an exciting second week of the 2026/2027 school year! We are introducing our 5th-8th grade students to a variety of life skills this year. We have included some photos of them learning about creating flower arrangements and the aspects of owning and operating a small business. We graciously thank each volunteer who is assisting with teaching these life skills to our students. The fun didn’t stop there though… check out this last week’s photos full of love, learning and laughter!

TLS Weekly Wrap-up
We are finishing up the first week of our 2026/2027 school year and what a wonderful week it has been! Check out some of our photos from this week! As we walked the halls it was overwhelmingly joyful to hear the children engaging and learning with each other. Most exciting for us was hearing God’s word being shared, taught, and learned throughout the building. We are reminded from our theme verses for 26/27 that we must be Rooted in Christ and built up in him daily. Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in Rooting and Building up the children of God in Christ!

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7

TLS WEEKLY WRAP-UP

This week the school is a buzz with our teachers and staff joyfully preparing for the start of the school year. As we button up and put on the final touches, we thought we would start our school year with our first edition of the TLS Weekly Wrap-up posts. Each week we will take a moment to share photos of our week here at TLS! Additionally, we would like to take a moment to thank our volunteers for their help spreading the mulch on our playground this week! It is only through working together that our school can remain a fun and safe environment.
