From the SBHS Student Council: We do not condone any of the activities that went on during Wednesday night's car bash. The activity itself is not sanctioned by SBHS or any other scholarly organization. The car bash is held on private property outside of school hours, and the car is donated by a local business- and so has been a previous tradition not endorsed by the school district for the past several years. We fully apologize for any offense anyone has taken towards theses actions of a select few individuals that attend SBHS. The entirety of the school has shown their distaste in this situation and we hope that Pine Ridge will still join us for our homecoming game Friday, October 13th. Everyone deserves the highest amount of respect, racism is not something that should have to be tolerated by anyone.
