Happy National Boss's Day!

Here at Nottawa Community School, we have two amazing bosses to celebrate!

We're so grateful for our visionary leader, Jerome Wolff, who guides our school by leading by example. He's always willing to step in and do whatever is needed, even when it means tackling the less-than-desirable jobs.

And to Amanda Beery, who so wonderfully manages all things related to our littlest learners in GSRP. It takes a special kind of leader to balance the technical responsibilities while caring for tender hearts, and we couldn't ask for someone better suited to the job!

Thank you both for pouring your time, energy, and hearts into our school. We are so grateful for all that you do!

Pass the word, it's a half day tomorrow! Enjoy your weekend, we'll see you for a full day on Monday.

Join us in welcoming a new addition to our school!

Hello! My name is Rachael Morrison, and I am so excited to be joining the team at Nottawa as a Paraprofessional!

As a Centreville native and local resident, I have a deep appreciation for our wonderful school community. I earned my associate’s degree from Glen Oaks Community College and am thrilled to bring my passion for supporting students into the classroom every day.

My husband and I are blessed with three wonderful kids—Nevaeh, Payton, and Maelle—who keep our days lively and fun, along with our cats and chickens!

Outside of school, I enjoy crafting, baking delicious treats, all things Disney, and spending time outdoors with my family.

I look forward to helping create a safe, caring, and encouraging environment where students can learn and grow. I can’t wait to get to know each of your children and am looking forward to a fantastic school year together! 😊

📸 Don't forget! Picture Day is tomorrow! Come wearing your best smiles! 😊

Some of you have already received a letter with information about the upcoming bond proposal. We wanted to share it here on Facebook as well, in case you missed it!

This proposal would provide much-needed classroom space to accommodate our growing student population here at Nottawa Community School.

Take a look, and please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have!

A huge shout-out to Joel Tacey for filling our school with humor and laughter while sharing some valuable lessons about good character!

Through his magical Character Show, our students were reminded of the importance of being responsible, respectful, fair, caring, trustworthy, and good citizens.

Sometimes, the best lessons are learned with a little laughter along the way! We love having opportunities to bring learning to life in fun and memorable ways, and yesterday was certainly no exception.

Thank you, Joel, for a wonderful afternoon!
