WBET Sturgis WBET is a Sturgis based radio station at FM 99.3, playing great hits from the 1960's to the mid 1980's. We also have Fox Sports Radio on AM 1230.

WBET 99.3 FM is a Sturgis based radio station playing the hits from the '60's and '70's. Super Hits 99.3 WBET also broadcasts area high school football and basketball games and is Michiana's home for Detroit Lions football. Our sister station, Fox Sports Radio 1230 AM, brings you great sports talk, along with Sturgis High School football and basketball; along with the Detroit Tigers, and University of Michigan football and men's basketball.

Bronson volleyball goes 0-4 at Leland Invitational

(LELAND) – Bronson started the 2026 volleyball season at the Leland Invitation and went 0-4. The Lady Vikings lost to Morely Stanwood, Portage Northern, Fowler, and Plymouth Christian Academy. Bronson coach Jean LaClair says while her team had some frustrations along the way, her team did grow during their four matches.

Three Rivers volleyball wins Silver Bracket at Gull Lake Inv.

(RICHLAND) – The Three Rivers volleyball team opened their season at the Gull Lake Invitational, and won the Silver Bracket. The Lady Wildcats lost to Mason, host Gull Lake and St. Joseph in pool play, then beat Schoolcraft in the semifinals and Mason in the finals. Kenna Plotts had 57 assists, 10 digs, 7 kills and 4 aces. Liv Wenzel added 20 kills while Braylee Burg had 15 kills and 7 blocks. Raegan Wenzel had 14 kills and 4 blocks.

Centreville volleyball goes 2-2-2 at St. Philip Tournament

(BATTLE CREEK) – The Centreville volleyball team was in action at the Battle Creek St. Philip Carrie Adams Tournament, going 2-2-2 on the day and falling in the Championship match. The Lady Bulldogs split with Quincy, lost to Hillsdale Academy, split with Climax-Scotts before beating Athens and Portland St. Patrick, and then falling to Wyoming Tri-Unity in the Silver Bracket Championship 25-20, 20-25, 13-25. Kali Sneed had 5 aces, 41 assists and 20 digs. Tyla Yoder had 18 aces and 26 digs. Rylee Mastney added 6 kills, 13 aces, 14 assists and 15 digs. While Adysson Mastney had 18 kills, 6 aces and 34 digs.

(STURGIS) – The host Sturgis boys tennis team went 0-2 at their own quad meet, losing to Detroit Country Day 8-0 and to Chelsea 8-0. Sturgis coach George Earl says his team is learning resilience and looking for opportunities despite their circumstances.

(BATTLE CREEK) – The Sturgis girls swim team started the 2026 season with a ninth place finish at the Spartan Relays with 142 points. The 200 breaststroke relay team of Lilly Whitehead, Katelyn Halling, Ella Whitehead and Ainsley Gump finished in third place. The 200 butterfly relay team of Avan Albarran, Brooklyn Draper, Lilly Whitehead and Ainsley Gump came in seventh.

Three Rivers CC teams participate in Portage Early Bird Invitational

(PORTAGE) – The Three Rivers boys and girls cross country teams both finished 16th at the Portage Early Bird Invitational. In the boys race, David Kore came in tenth and Elijah Harris was 87th. Kloey Osborn led the Lady Wildcats by finishing 62nd and Brynn Copenhaver was 82nd.

(PORTAGE) – The Centreville boys and girls cross country teams participated in the Portage Early Bird Invitational, with the Centreville boys finishing eighth and the girls 19th. In the boys race, Will Hulin was sixth and Max Reed 30th. For the girls, Addison Johnson came in 50th and Emily Falkenstein was 157th.

Bronson CC teams run at Sturgis Kickoff Classic.

(STURGIS) – The Bronson cross country teams were in action at the Sturgis Kickoff Classic. The Lady Vikings finished third and were led by Alonna Goodsell who came in fifth while Miriam Sanchez was 13th. The Bronson boys didn’t have enough runners to compete for a team score. Individually, Adam Franks finished fourth, Brayton Cosby was tenth and Denver Siler was 12th.
