The date of Graduation for the eCademy Class of 2023 has been set. Wednesday, May 25th, 6pm Oaklawn park. (Students look for your detailed letter in the mail this week)

To: eCademy Families

Please note that the State of Michigan is requiring that all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade high school students take the PSAT or SAT this Spring.

Juniors are required to take the SAT. Freshmen and Sophomores will take the PSAT. All tests are being used by the district and the state to show student knowledge and growth throughout their high school careers. The tests are also used by the district to assess our curriculum and the success of students within that curriculum. The tests are important to Sturgis Public Schools and to many employers, colleges, and universities. Please encourage your child to do their very best.

Note that students will be given breakfast before testing and also will be given snacks during testing breaks. The schedule for testing days is shown below. Dismissal times are estimated and could vary

Note: Please help us see that your child is at school during designated times.

Wednesday, April 13
• 9th Grade: PSAT testing, students will report by 8:45 AM and go to their assigned testing room.
• 11th Grade: SAT Testing. Students Report by 8:45 AM and go to their assigned testing room.

Thursday, April 14
• 10th Grade: PSAT testing. Report to school by 8:45 AM and go to their assigned testing room.

Congratulations to Brady Hull on receiving this accomplishment. CSWA - Academic certification is intended for a student who is well-versed in both basic knowledge of engineering fundamentals and industry practices, along with SOLIDWORKS CAD software and its methodologies and simulation principles. GREAT JOB!!!
