Congratulations to James Tronstein ‘26 on being named the 2026 Gatorade California Baseball Player of the Year, the state’s highest individual honor in high school baseball.

A Mission League MVP, Vanderbilt commit, and one of the nation’s premier talents, James joins an elite group of Wolverines whose excellence has been recognized on the highest stage.

This award reflects not only remarkable performance on the field, but also the dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence that define Harvard-Westlake Athletics.

Congratulations to Ava Penn ’28 of on earning a selection to the U.S. Soccer U16 Girls National Team Domestic Training Camp in May.

Ava joined some of the top young players in the country as part of the U.S. Soccer Youth National Team pathway, representing Harvard-Westlake on the national stage.

This achievement reflects Ava’s dedication, work ethic, and commitment to continual growth. We are proud to see her hard work recognized at the highest levels of youth soccer and look forward to all that lies ahead.
