For more than 25 years, Cynthia Bain has helped young people build the foundation for their skyscraper lives.
Over the years, students have pursued ambitious goals, built meaningful careers, and created lives they love. Through that work, Cynthia developed a philosophy and methodology centered on goal-setting, accountability, action, and self-mastery.
Now, for the first time, that curriculum is available through Skyscraper School.
Skyscraper School is an empowerment program designed to help young people gain clarity about what they want, create a plan to get there, and build the discipline to follow through.
Following a sold-out pilot through the SAG-AFTRA Conservatory, we are excited to officially launch this program to all young people worldwide.
The foundation you build today creates the skyscraper life you'll live tomorrow.

The foundation you build as an actor can carry you far beyond acting.
Congratulations to Cynthia Bain alum Mishka on her directorial debut, My Boyfriend Is A Demon.
Mishka trained with Cynthia for many years as a young actor. Today, as she makes her directorial debut, we are reminded that the foundation built through serious training can support artists throughout every stage of their careers and throughout their lives.
At CBYAS, we believe training develops more than craft. It builds discipline, preparation, creative instincts, and respect for the work.

Two CBYAS actors. One Netflix series.
👏 Congratulations to Emily Chen on booking her first lead role in Poser on Netflix, alongside CBYAS alum Ciara Riley Wilson! Swipe to hear directly from Emily and Ciara about their experience training with Cynthia Bain.
Emily worked with Cynthia Bain throughout her audition process, approaching the material with focus, preparation, and respect for the work. Booking her first lead role marks an important milestone and reflects the kind of discipline that carries from the audition room onto set.
It is equally exciting to see Ciara continue her momentum. As Cynthia's longtime MasterClass and private coaching alum, she brings years of training, consistency, and professional experience to every project she takes on.
Moments like this reflect what CBYAS develops over time: strong craft, reliable preparation, and actors who know how to sustain the work.
We are so proud of both of you!

Congratulations to Cynthia's MasterClass and Private Coaching student, Dot Cloud, on her supporting role in the new Apple TV series Cape Fear, streaming now!
Featuring an incredible cast including Amy Adams and Javier Bardem, Cape Fear is one of the year's most anticipated series, and we are so excited to see Dot sharing the screen with such an extraordinary group of artists.
Dot trains with Cynthia Bain in her Thursday evening MasterClass and works privately with Cynthia on auditions and set preparation. For Cape Fear, Cynthia helped Dot prepare through private coaching sessions, guiding her deeper into the material and helping her build the confidence to bring her unique artistry to the set.
Watching Dot continue to grow as an actor has been such a joy. She consistently brings curiosity, preparation, and heart to her work, and we could not be more proud of this milestone.
Swipe to hear from Dot.

In 2024, Cynthia Bain was invited to teach at the SAG-AFTRA LA Conservatory. After a sold-out session, she has been invited back to lead an all-new exclusive intensive for SAG-AFTRA young performers!
The Skyscraper School: An Empowerment Intensive.
This three-week virtual experience is designed for SAG-AFTRA young performers who are ready to build the foundation that supports their work, their goals, and their growth as artists.
Inside the work, students are introduced to the core methodology behind Cynthia Bain’s training, where clarity, discipline, and accountability shape both the actor and the person they are becoming.
Three weeks. Three questions.
What do you want?
How do you get it?
Are you doing the work?
This is the work beneath the work. The kind of training that strengthens preparation, sharpens focus, and builds the mindset young actors carry into every audition, every role, and every area of their lives.

Congratulations to CBYAS Master Class alum Kylee Levine on booking the indie drama “HAL” alongside Cynthia’s alum Emma Roberts!
We’re so proud to see this incredible full-circle moment come to life. Cynthia Bain trained Emma Roberts early in her career, helping build the foundation for her success and coaching her through all of her auditions for Nickelodeon’s Unfabulous — the role that launched her career. Cynthia later served as the cast’s on-set acting coach throughout the series. Now, years later, one of Cynthia’s own CBYAS Master Class alumni is starring alongside Emma as her daughter in “HAL.” ❤️
At CBYAS, our mission has always been to help young actors build lasting careers through discipline, professional training, and creative integrity — and moments like this remind us why we do what we do.
Congratulations Kylee! We can’t wait to see “HAL”! 🎥✨
