Fruit, bacon and nuts will arrive tomorrow. Orders may be picked up after school until 6;00. We have limited storage space for the bacon so it is important that it is picked uo as soon as possible. If you need an alternate pick ip time please contact the school.

Thursday, 8th grade students learned floral design principles. Today they used that knowledge to create fall floral arrangements.

SDMS had a successful 98th State FFA Convention. Members tried new events and came away with increased knowledge and the excitement of experiencing the convention.

Results:
Horse Hippology- 8th place team (Ava Hashagen, Heaven Conner, Mackenzie Campbell)

Ag Mechanics - 9th place team (Cole Henderson, Wyatt Stowers. Ryan Knight, Tyler Crismond)
Cole Henderson was the top individual in the state!

Plant Science- 5th place team(Kim Herrera, Addison Arrington, Kyndalll Kidd and Andy Roberts)
Andy was the 5th high individual in the state!

Small Animal - 6th place team (Heaven Conner, Elysabeth Campbell, Mackenzie Campbell and Keagan Ervin)
Mackenzie was the 7th high individual in the state.

Quiz Bowl- 9th place team in test (Victoria Hansbrough, Elysabeth Campbell, Lily Swartz and Andy Roberts

15 members are representing the SDMS FFA at the 98th state FFA convention in Blacksburg. We had the mechanics team compete yesterday.
We were recognized on stage for 100% membership, superior chapter and a bronze rating for Public Relations.

Today we have Small Animal, Plant Science , FFA Quiz Bowl and Horse Hippology. We will find out some results tomorrow and one on Thursday.
