We are so grateful to have many local businesses in our community who support our programs and students! We wanted to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to our friends at Dap’s for sponsoring ice cream and milkshake supplies for our sales at our home Varsity football games! Because of this donation, all of our sales will go straight to our FFA members, helping to cover cost of contests, trips, and other chapter activities.

Go support those who support our Stuarts Draft kids!! We couldn’t do it all without them.

While I’m sure we’re all glad to be home in our own beds, I know we are so grateful to have had such a great week at Virginia Tech! The biggest reward was spending time together, celebrating the 100th annual State Convention of Virginia FFA. 💛

The 100th State FFA Convention has gotten off to an incredible start! First and foremost, we had safe travels to Virginia Tech yesterday morning, and got settled in nicely. So far, we’ve been really enjoying our time together, as shown in these pictures 🤗

Our Floriculture and Vet Science teams competed first thing yesterday afternoon, and Livestock Judging and Sr. Ag. Mechanics kicked off our Tuesday with early morning contests! It was an interesting morning after getting stuck in an elevator for 30 minutes this morning 🤣

Some of our members also represented our chapter today as delegates on committees discussing special topics regarding state FFA issues.

We are now settled in for tonight 2nd general session, and are looking forward to two final contests, Jr. Ag. Mechanics and Nursery/Landscape, and checking out the College & Career Expo tomorrow!

Tomorrow is the last official day of our plant sale! Come out between 9am-4pm to support our kids in next year’s leadership opportunities!
