Finally able to share this portrait oil painting. It was an honor to paint this heirloom painting for newly weds. They loved it and that alone makes creating it a true pleasure.

They loved the painting. This was a wedding gift for their marriage on Earth Day. When anyone asks why I do what I do, this will be the answer! Thank you to the parents Deb and Bob Squires

5th commission this year is on the easel and won't be presented until next year so can't share it yet. Plus the year is not over yet. Who knows what will happen next?

4th commission this year. I call this "Carrie's Dream" although it literally has an excerpt from the poem "The Wish" in it. The painting includes Carrie, her husband, their two boys (now grown), her parents (now past) and their two dogs (although one represented twice). The garden includes flowers and trees they have in their actual garden. She sent me texts almost daily for the first week of how much this was being enjoyed by everyone! It's so fun bringing joy to families!

3rd commission this year was a pastel of grandson Kai to his parents. The photo Sandy provided was brilliantly coloful and made creating this fun!

2nd commission of the year! This was a 50th birthday family portrait from husband to wife. I was thrilled to do this and drove the painting from Stuart, FL to Houston, TX for the special day. The family is been spending time studying and enjoying ever since.

1st Commission painting of the year! A gift from mom (and dad) to her son and his family for their new house. Here they are skiing in Japan. I had to research and include mountains that were hidden in a cloud bank as well as create sunlight and shadows for them. It was shipped to Virginia, presented and they LOVED it!

I know that these bloom in July but if we can have Christmas in July, and it's always summer here in tropical Florida . . . well, a little artistic license! Plus the colors are so perfect for the holiday! Hope your day is wonderful!
