Joseph Catholic School has provided a Christ centered education to the thousands of students that have blessed this school, many of which have their children and grandchildren attending our school today. The faith formation curriculum of our school is aimed to assist students to truly live their faith. Although it is important for our children to learn Catholic doctrine, it is equally important to

understand what it truly means to be a disciple of Christ. Joseph Catholic School promotes the teachings of the Catholic Church and instills in our students a profound and personal spirituality. Education is one of the most important ways by which the Church fulfills its commitment to the dignity of the person and the building of community. The school seeks to provide a unique setting where spiritual, academic, and social growth is realized within a faith community. Our school develops Catholic values and attitudes within our students and places emphasis on their responsibility to bring Christ to others. This is accomplished by the faculty and staff being responsive to the needs of the students, empowering them with skills and factual knowledge that stimulate creative thinking, and by uniting with the community in prayer, service, and love. Our school's prayer life is evident as soon as we step on to the campus in the morning. We gather as departments for grace and the Angelus during lunch, and we end our day in the classrooms with the Act of Contrition. Each class prepares prayer services and Masses for our Parish family during the course of the year. Our wonderful priests celebrate Mass in the individual classrooms. We are also blessed to have four Sisters of the Most Holy Soul of Christ as part of our school family. Our core curriculum is meant to be challenging. We provide a strong background in the areas of math, science, language arts and social studies to all of our student, from the Little Lambs (our three year olds) through Grade 8. The schedule also involves physical education, library/media, technology, art, music/band and Spanish. Qualified 8th graders are given the opportunity to earn high school credit in the areas of Honors/Academic Algebra I, Honors Biology, and Spanish I. All of our Honors Biology and Algebra I students passed the End of Course (EOC) exam given by the state of Florida. This speaks highly of our students and teachers. Our school is lauded for providing our students the opportunity to receive an excellent fine arts education. Our middle school band program is the best in the tri-county area. We are the first school in Martin County to have one to one iPads for all middle school and grade five students, as well as providing all of our intermediate, primary, and early childhood children the opportunity to use iPads. All classrooms are equipped with smartboards or Apple TV in addition to desktop computers. Our technology is used each and every day to provide students with a diverse and student centered learning experience. Joseph Catholic School is a member of the Treasure Coast Athletic Association. We offer several sports on the Junior Varsity and Varsity level. Even our little ones can participate in cross country! This is just a very brief overview of the well-balanced education that St. Joseph Catholic School provides to our students. ⚖️✨ Real-World Learning in Action!

Our middle school students recently visited the Martin County Courthouse to learn more about the civic process. During their trip, they participated in a mock trial, took part in a Q&A with a public defender and prosecutor, and even had the opportunity to see 19th Circuit County Judge Darren Steele in action.

It was an engaging and educational experience that brought classroom learning to life! 👏
