We're honored to be recognized by the National Safe Boating Council with a 2026 International Boating and Water Safety Summit (IBWSS) Communication Award for Community Impact. ⚓
This award recognizes our efforts in guiding 220 teen students through the NSBC Skipper Club program in 2025, helping each participant earn their Florida Boating Safety Education Identification Card while building the knowledge and confidence needed to boat safely and responsibly.

As our 2026 Summer Youth Boating Programs get underway, we're proud to be on track to help even more young boaters develop the skills and safety habits that will serve them for a lifetime on the water.
At Chapman, our mission has always been about creating safer waterways through education, and we're grateful to the National Safe Boating Council for this recognition and for their continued partnership in promoting boating safety nationwide.

Thank you to the NSBC, our instructors, staff, students, and supporters who help make programs like these possible. Together, we're building the next generation of safe, responsible boaters. 🛥️

Every trip on the water starts with preparation. ⚓
Before leaving the dock, our students learn the importance of conducting a pre-departure checklist, from safety equipment and weather conditions to vessel systems and passenger readiness. These habits help build confidence, promote safer boating, and create skills that last a lifetime.

At Chapman, boating education goes beyond earning a certification. It's about developing the knowledge, judgment, and seamanship skills that students will carry with them every time they head underway. 🛥️

A big thank you to the Hobe Sound Nature Center for spending time with our Summer Youth Boating students today! 🌿

As part of the Waterway Warriors Program, students learned about the important connection between responsible boating and the health of Florida's marine ecosystems. From understanding manatee protection zones to preventing damage to vital seagrass habitats, the presentation highlighted simple actions every boater can take to help preserve our waterways for future generations.

We appreciate our partnership with the Hobe Sound Nature Center and its commitment to educating the next generation of environmentally conscious boaters. Together, we're building safer boaters, stronger stewards, and healthier waterways for all. 🛥️
