🧠💭 Recognizing the Signs of Overthinking 💭🧠

Overall, I appreciate my analytical mind. But it has taken time to learn that this strength has it's place. And, what happens when I don't use this skill properly: overthinking, which leads to anxiety, worry and doubt.

Here are some signs to watch out for:

1️⃣ **Endless Analysis:** If you find yourself caught in a cycle of constant analysis without reaching a decision, it might be overthinking at play.

2️⃣ **Perfectionism Paralysis:** Striving for perfection is admirable, but when it prevents action, it's a sign of overthinking. Embrace progress over perfection!

3️⃣ **Replaying Scenarios:** Constantly replaying past conversations or envisioning future scenarios can indicate a mind in overdrive. Focus on the present moment.

4️⃣ **Physical Symptoms:** Overthinking can manifest physically—headaches, tension, or fatigue. Listen to your body and take breaks when needed.

5️⃣ **Self-Doubt Spiral:** Overthinking often leads to self-doubt. Recognize your achievements and trust your capabilities.

This gave me a good chuckle, but it's so true! Employers are not the only ones with skin in the game. Walking into a toxic situation is terrible, so make sure you ask the right questions to get a feel for the culture and your potential manager's leadership style.
