🏗️Today’s STEM Challenge in Mrs. Jackson’s class was all about building BIG! 🚀

Our scholars used marshmallows and toothpicks to design and build the tallest tower they could. It took creativity, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and a little trial and error! 💡🙌

Engineering in action! 🚀🧠

Mrs. Liberty took on the science challenge in Miss Thompson’s class and investigated the Marshmallow Drop! ☁️🏗️ Their mission: design and build a structure that would keep a marshmallow from hitting the floor when dropped from 5 feet above!

It took creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and a little trial and error! We love watching our scholars think like engineers! 💜💛

Port Salerno Elementary School would like celebrate the students who earned the highest Accelerated Reader point total during the Splash Into The Ocean of Reading Summer Reading Challenge, sponsored by the Martin County Education Foundation. We are so proud of these students and their commitment to reading over the summer.
