🎶 What a wonderful start to our chorus year!💙💛

Tonight we held our first MCHS Chorus Parent Meeting of the school year, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin! Our talented students treated families to a mini concert, showcasing what they have accomplished in just three short weeks. Under the direction of Mrs. James, they have already begun bringing their individual voices together to create something truly special. 🎵

A huge thank you to all of the parents and families who joined us tonight!Your involvement, encouragement, and support make such a difference for our students and our chorus program.

We’re excited for everything this year has in store and grateful to have such a wonderful chorus community cheering our students on! 💙💛🎶

🎶 The MCHS Chorus Program is going to Atlanta! 🎶

Our talented students have earned the opportunity to travel to Atlanta and compete in a national choral competition! This incredible experience will allow them to showcase their hard work, dedication, and musical excellence on a national stage.

Today, we honor the life and legacy of a true MCHS legend, Ronald Corbin.

Mr. Corbin’s impact on MCHS Chorus reaches far beyond the music performed on a stage. Through his passion, dedication, and love for his students, he helped build a chorus program and tradition that touched generations of singers and families. The lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love of music he inspired continue to live on in the many students who had the privilege of singing under his direction.
One of the greatest testaments to Mr. Corbin’s impact is the legacy he left behind when he retired from MCHS many years ago. The traditions he helped establish, the standard of excellence he set, and the pride he instilled in being part of MCHS Chorus became part of the foundation upon which the program has continued to grow. Years after his retirement, his influence remains an important part of the history and story of MCHS Chorus.

A great teacher’s legacy is measured not only in the years they taught, but in the lives they changed and in what continues because they were there. Mr. Corbin changed countless lives, and his influence will forever be woven into the history and heart of MCHS Chorus.

We are grateful for the music, the traditions, the memories, and the incredible legacy he left for generations of Tigers who followed.

Rest in peace, Mr. Corbin. Once a Tiger, always a Tiger. 🐾🎶💙
