🌱 Grow, garden, grow! 🥒💚
Talk about a full-circle moment! Our school-age children have been involved every step of the way with our garden—from planting the cucumber seeds, watering, and pulling weeds, to harvesting them and enjoying the fresh cucumbers as part of their afternoon snack today! There's nothing better than tasting the rewards of hard work.
We're also excited to share that our garden is growing! 🎉 We recently added a beautiful new raised garden bed, and our hope is to add two more garden beds at a lower height so our toddlers can get involved too. We can't wait to watch our youngest gardeners dig, plant, water, and discover the joy of growing their own food.
A special shout-out to Cole Poessnecker of Atkinson for his outstanding craftsmanship in building our custom garden beds. We appreciate the quality work and attention to detail that have helped bring our garden vision to life!
Experiences like these help children learn responsibility, patience, healthy eating habits, and where their food comes from—all while having fun outdoors. Here's to watching our little gardeners continue to grow right alongside our garden! 🌞🌿
