Students have an exciting opportunity to join Academic Games! Participants build critical thinking, math, linguishtik, social studies, and teamwork skills through fun academic competitions. Please note that all practices and games are held virtually through Teams. The Teams link can be accessed through the Martin County Academic Games Schoology: Course Code - TKZX-VXJ8-DB49M

Our Lions had an exciting volleyball game at "The Den" that kept fans on the edge of their seats and cheering LOUD from start to finish! πŸ“£πŸ The Volleyball team has been working incredibly hard after school, putting in the time and effort to prepare for an amazing season.

A huge shoutout to our cheerleaders, who have also been practicing hard and getting ready for their cheer season! πŸ“£πŸ’™πŸ’› They did an outstanding job tonight bringing the energy and cheering on our Lions!

A special thank you to all of the families and students who came out to support our school and cheer on our Lions! Your energy and support mean so much! πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ¦

Murray Middle’s FFA students are putting their knowledge into action through Career Development Events (CDEs)! Students in grades 6-8 compete in hands-on agricultural contests, from identifying plants 🌿 to testing their livestock knowledge πŸ„. Along the way, they build teamwork skills 🀝, grow their confidence πŸ’ͺ, and explore exciting future career pathways. 🚜✨

πŸ”¬ Science is in full swing at Murray Middle! Students have been hard at work exploring, investigating, and discovering through hands-on learning experiences.

πŸ§ͺ Biology students rotated through mini-labs to explore the unique properties of water and why it is essential for life on Earth.

🚁 Sixth-grade scientists designed, tested, and improved Bunny Copters while learning about the scientific investigation process.

πŸ’§ Seventh-grade students investigated how water temperature affects the rate at which substances dissolve, collecting data and making observations like real scientists!

We love seeing our Lions learning through inquiry, experimentation, and teamwork! 🦁✨
