St. Nicholas School We all have been gifted with the ability to make differences. We are a family at St. Nicholas School Nicholas Parish and Holy Trinity Parish.

Saint Nicholas School is located in Struthers, a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio. It was the parish school originally for Saint Nicholas, a Roman Catholic parish, which was established in 1865 and now renamed Christ Our Savior parish, which was established July 1, 2011, with the merger of St. The original school building was built in 1928 and was staffed entirely by Sisters of the Ursuline Order under the direction of the first principal, sister Charles Hoffman, O.S.U. As enrollment increased through the years, more Ursuline Sisters as well as lay teachers joined the teaching staff. Additions to the building to accommodate the growing enrollment were completed in 1950. Saint Nicholas school is an educational institution in which Catholic teaching, worship, and social concern are integrated into the experience of the community, thus forming a complete educational background. This educational process at St. Nicholas strives to develop each student’s spiritual, social, intellectual, and moral growth to its greatest potential.

🏀WE ARE LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER COACH! 🏀

St. Nicholas School is looking for a volunteer coach for our 5th/6th Grade Boys Basketball Team! 🏀💚💛

If you or someone you know would be interested in coaching and making a positive impact on our students, please contact the school or reach out to our Athletic Director, A. Garchar, at [email protected].

📋 All interested volunteers must:
• Complete an FBI/BCI background check
• Complete the online VIRTUS/Coach’s Tool Chest training

While this is a volunteer position, working with our students and helping them grow both on and off the court can be incredibly rewarding! ❤️🏀

Please share this post and help us find a great coach for our boys! Thank you for supporting St. Nicholas Athletics! 💚💛🏀

🍎🍏 APPLE-solutely Delicious Apple Tasting Day in Kindergarten! 🍏🍎

Miss Young’s kindergarten class had an APPLE-solutely delicious day as our little taste testers explored all things apple! 🍎✨

Our students sampled applesauce, Apple Jacks, apple chips, apple juice, and red, green, and yellow apples! ❤️💚💛 They explored different tastes and textures, discovered new favorites, and even voted on which apple treat they liked best! 😋

What a SWEET way to wrap up our Apple Week! 🍏🍎✨

Great job, little taste testers! 👏🍎
