4th of July Parade 2026

Road Closures

Beginning at approximately 10:20 a.m., the Struthers Police Department will begin closing access to Fifth Street from W. Omar Street, W. Harvey Street, and Brandon Avenue.
At approximately 10:45 a.m., all roads along the Struthers School Foundation 5K route will begin to close in preparation for the race. Once the race begins at 11:00 a.m., Fifth Street and all side streets along the race route will be closed.
Limited access to the plaza will be available via Helena Street to Garfield Street to the plaza, and Garfield Street southbound to Rita Drive.

Please expect delays, as traffic will only be permitted through when there are safe gaps between runners.

By 11:50 a.m., all roadways along the parade route will be closed until the parade has passed your location.

Please plan accordingly and stay hydrated. Additionally, please be courteous to the volunteers assisting the Police Department with this event. They are working under our direction to help ensure the safety of both participants and spectators.

We would like to thank Rudzik Construction for the use of its equipment, as well as Struthers ROAR and the Struthers School Foundation for providing volunteers along the route.

Happy 4th of July!!!

We’re all so excited for tomorrow!

THE parade steps off right at 12:00 with Candace Campana singing the National Anthem and Mr. John Grandy announcing at the Mesaros grandstand at request of the late and great Charlie Jasinski! The judges will be Jim Loboy from WKBN, Mike Brooke, a.k.a. Mr. November, and Mr Tom Baringer from The Struthers Rotary!

The Pizza Joes 5K race will start at 11 o’clock and the Kristy Taaffe kids fun run will start at 11:45.

Thank you to the Struthers School Foundation for Sponsoring, to Cindy Jasinski for the yearly donation of the trophies, to the Struthers street department for getting everything ready, to the Struthers Police Department and the Struthers R.O.A.R. for helping make everything go smooth!
