It's been a busy summer so far for Monroe County 4-H! We will be sharing some awesome activities our members have been participating in starting with our Ecology club!

The Pocono Ecology 4-H Club and members of Teen Council went on a 6 mile kayak trip down the Delaware recently. The kids collected macroinvertebrates, went snorkeling, saw numerous bald eagles, a black bear, spawning shad,
catfish and carp. Thank you to the Monroe County Conservation District for providing this amazing experience to our 4-H youth and a special thank you to Brittany and Colleen for leading the trip. The kids had an amazing time and look forward to doing it again next year!

SAVE THE DATE! If you are a "Nature Nerd" and ages 8-18, join the Ecology Club on Sunday October 11th for a Stream Safari of the Brodhead Creek. More information on registration to come!
