GREAT OPPORTUNITY IN STROUDSBURG, PA! This position is entry level, perfect for someone trying to gain experience and learn the CNC machining trade.

OVERVIEW:
Here at Base Lab Tools we are looking for a Full Time Team Member. This position is best suited for an individual motivated to learn and produce quality work to gain experience in CNC operation. We will start with the basics and if you show promise, listen, follow procedures, and have good attendance, we will start training on operation of CNC milling and turning centers. If training goes well, we will move to the next step and start training to do set up. This is a process and will take time. Our company promotes performance and rewards success.

REQUIREMENTS:
● Entry level
● Machine shop experience and experience doing COOP is not required but would be preferred.
● Flexibility to work on different tasks based on quickly changing production needs.
● Ability to lift 50lbs
● Hustle and attention to detail
● Concern for a quality product
● Good attendance
● Comfortable with math, fractions, decimals, cutting tools, and measuring equipment

DUTIES:
● Follow documented procedures and ask for assistance when needed
● Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) to prevent injury to yourself and others.
● Saw and prepare metal to be used in machines
● Maintain and clean machines
● Remove chips from machines
● Deburr and clean parts
● Sweep and move materials
● Complete any necessary tasks in the department to keep production running smoothly
● Assist machine operator to complete tasks
●Participation in lean implementation, “cleaning as you go,” and continuous improvement

STARTING PAY RATE:
$14.50 to $15.50 based on previous experience and the in-house interview.

JOB TYPE: Full-time
SALARY: $14.50 - $15.50 per hour

This candidate will assist current machine operator in keeping the shop running at optimal efficiency.
This would include tasks such as,
-Saw metal to be used in machines
-Maintain and clean machines
-Remove chips from machines
-Deburr and clean parts
-Sweep and move materials
-Assist in change overs

Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, technical certification or college degree preferred.
Machine shop experience preferred, but not required
We will train the right candidate that shows aptitude and motivation.
Tasks can change at any moment based on production needs so we need flexibility.
Ability to lift 50lbs & work on feet for whole shift

The ideal candidate will have a background in MIG welding and fabrication, working with steel and aluminum as well as in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work from drawings & schematics.
