We will be hosting a CPR class on Saturday June 22, at 10am. ClearCPR will be teaching Adult/Child/Infant CPR with AED. Advanced registration IS required. No walk-ins

Small print: registration is required. Participants must be 18 years or older. Anyone over the age of 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult.

If you need CPR training in order to maintain a healthcare related license, please contact Clear Cpr to determine if this is the appropriate course for your license.

Shawnee Fire Company has the very FIRST Public Access Defibrillator in Monroe County!
The AED is located on the side of the firehouse in a temperature-controlled weatherproof cabinet and is available for use by the public in the event of a cardiac emergency ❤️

When we talk about the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest, we also talk about possible causes. Commotio cordis can happen when a person’s chest experiences blunt force trauma at exactly the perfect moment to disrupt the heart’s normal rhythm.
